So, ya know... we don`t have to keep pretending this game is a masterpiece...
which is becoming rather silly
Well, it kind of is, beneath the surface. But it seems that a lot of elements I considered to be masterpiece-worthy, like the souls-style lore and the abstract enemy design, were incidental.
But now, it seems they may want to change or get rid of that. Which is a disappointment.
But anyway, is it the best it could have possibly been? No, of course not. But perfection isn't necessarily what makes something a masterpiece, nor should it be. The flaws don't negate it.
