Yup, I've gotten it a few times, and it's a hell of a combo. Of course, it goes even better with something like Tempest, Chemical X, Echo Form (especially if you evoke Fusion Orbs first), or Static Discharge+ and taking lots of multihit attacks. And yeah, Defect's the most fun to play.
