Slay the Spire

Endless Shiv Advice
To the elders of the Silent community,
I'm a decent enough Slay the Spire player (decent enough to inspire envy in my father X3), with an Ascension 6 heart kill under my belt. (My Steam hours are deceiving, I've played 100 hours on my phone.) Recently, I've been playing an A0 Endless run between classes, and have finally had a break. I'm up to Floor 389 (NG+7), but I'm having trouble figuring out how to improve from here.

My current deck is 70 cards:
7×Accuracy
4×Adrenaline
1×After Image (Innate)
1×Apotheosis+ (Bottled)
5×Backflip
7×Blade Dance
2×Blur
2×Bullet Time
6×Cloak and Dagger
1×Curse of the Bell (Boo...)
1×Dark Shackles
5×Deflect
7×Dodge and Roll
6×Escape Plan
8×Footwork
2×Leg Sweep
1×Panache
1×Prepared
1×Skewer
1×Terror
The upgrades don't matter because Apotheosis upgrades everything first turn.

I currently have too many relics to list, but some of the most noteworthy are Ice Cream, Ninja Scroll, Runic Pyramid, and Unceasing Top. The trouble is, my most irritating endless curse is Time Maze, which means I can't have a truly infinite turn due to a 15 card play limit.
Any suggestions on where I can go from here? I can't get rid of my curse card, but does my deck need to be thinned out, or is it perfectly balanced, as all things should be? Additionally, if my deck needs expanding, what am I looking for?
Finally, if you want to ask a question about my deck, whether it's because you're diagnosing or want to learn from my choices, please go ahead.
Thank you for looking at my post!

1. Fill your deck up with as many non-innate cards as you can (doesn't matter what, as long as they aren't innate, just shove more cards in there. Curses, junk you'll never use, whatever), and never stop filling it up, although eventually it won't make a difference.

2. Buy a whole bunch of Mind Blast+, or upgrade any that haven't been upgraded. But you probably have Toxic Egg, so they'd all get upgraded automatically.

3. Get a few boss relics that give you energy in exchange for something.

4. Steamroll everything in one hit on your first turn, never needing more than five attacks to clear any given room.

5. The sole exception to this is Awakened One, who requires 2 turns to kill, and I don't remember exactly how you deal with that. But otherwise, endless becomes truly endless and every fight plays out the same way, where you win in a single turn and can't lose.

6. This game was never very well-suited for an endless mode, despite all the things the devs did to try to make it work. There's just too much power that you can accrue too easily.

hi i think there is a way to transform 1 cursecard into another... you might not be able to remove a card, but have you tried transforming it (when given an opportunity?)

Curses only transform into other curses, though, so this usually doesn't help.

Challenge yourself with Ascension. That's how you'll improve as a player and begin to notice things you never considered before. There's nothing wrong with endless mode if that's what you enjoy; be honest with yourself though: aren't you simply coasting through it at this point? I'd assume you are, and that's why you're here asking how to optimize your deck. You've hit a wall subconsciously, and the enjoyment you once had forging your "Endless Shiv" deck and seeing how far you could go has diminished. It's because you're not challenging yourself. That's how you improve in games like StS, and that's how you improve in life. ; )

Very mature, I'm having a lot of trouble with that in real life right now. God bless you!

ah yep that's true, its just that if it manages to transform into another one, that other one might then be removable via a shop :) (in theory)

btw speaking of ascensions....
i was playing with a mod and an event gave me an option to jump to level 5 ascension.
( i think it gave me 3 options, but i picked level 5)

is there a way to actually progress through the ascensions like that again (via a repeating event) in 5's, or via some other way, so i can progress through them "in the same existing game" but incrementally?

like going from ascension 5 to 6, and then 6 to 7 etc.

I've never heard of anything like that before, so I have no idea...

Nope. The curses you get from the bell, the book, A10+, and the blight can't be transformed. They simply don't show up as an option when you find an event that transforms cards, so you can't do anything about it. Like, they're conspicuously absent in the card removal options in the shop and events, so why wouldn't they also be absent from transformation options?

ah ok
