Secondary cards in the watcher deck like Through Violence. Can you upgrade them without the forge potion?

Secondary cards in the watcher deck? Can you upgrade them without the forge potion? It doesn't seem like you can at the smith, etc.

"Master Reality" would do it since that gives you upgraded versions of any card created in combat. Also any effects like Apotheosis would upgrade it when its in your deck.

But you can't smith it. I was looking for a button or something. It doesn't seem like there's anything? I just want to verify this is correct, correct?

Cards created mid-combat will always be unupgraded. But there are a few different ways to upgrade cards mid-combat, which will work with created cards the exact same way they would with normal cards:

• Blessing of the Forge
  
• Warped Tongs
  
• Armaments
  
• Apotheosis (card must be created before playing Apotheosis)
  
• Master Reality (card must be created after playing Master Reality)

Yes, because it's never part of your deck, so molten egg doesn't work either.

Oh I see. No, if you mean outside of a fight. Some cards do give the "+" version of the secondary card if you upgrade the base card. You cant directly upgrade the secondary unless its been created and that can only happen in a fight.

You cannot smith any card that isn't in your deck (not draw pile, your permanent deck). If a mod somehow puts a shiv or any other conventionally non-collectible card in your deck, it can be smithed (even burn).
