Judgment vs. Corrupt Heart (Invincible Buff)
I'm just curious: did anyone come across this situation:
Corrupt Heart has not much HP left (let's just say, 21 HP), but all the damage its "Invincible" buff lets you deal has been consumed for this turn.
However, you still have a Judgment left in your Hand.
So I would like to know if Judgment works in this situation.
Since Judgment's text does not mention "damage" anywhere, I think it should work - but you can't be sure (Eg. Blasphemy also does not state "damage" anywhere, it says "die", but you can survive with Buffer or Intangible).

Not tried, but I assume you mean Heart being unable to take more than X damage per turn, in which case there is no reason to assume Judgement would work even if it doesn't specifically mention damage. It is still reducing a target's HP from X to 0, and the Heart cannot lose Y HP per turn regardless.

Again, not tried, but that's how I look at it. Intangible is different in that Corruption (AFAIK) kills you by inflicting 999,999 (etc) damage (rather than just flipping a literal kill-switch), hence Intangible simply reduces it down to 1 (as stated), despite Corruption not mentioning 'damage'.

In short, it pays not to be too literal about it.

Made me see a mistake I made - of course Invincible does not grant immunity just to damage - rather it grants immunity to HP loss.

Still, I think of it that way: whenever a target deals damage or loses HP, the numbers of Dmg/HP loss is shown. But that is not the case for Judgment...

Now I have to be a smart-donkey here: It's Blasphemy, not Corruption. Pretty sure you know, but maybe it could confuse some of the newbies here.

Not going to pretend like I know - just referring to whatever card states that it 'kills you' on the next turn. Doesn't mention any damage but apparently it inflicts 999,999+ damage to do it, hence intangible works. Similarly to the heart. It apparently can't lose (x) health in a turn, so there's no reason to assume Judgement would work based on lack of 'damage' implication. It's still reducing HP, and it can't be reduced more than X per turn.

Just my inexperienced / non-literal / possibly incorrect 2cents.

Well, since Intangible reduce Judgement "damage" to 1
i`ll go out on a limb and say the same thing probably happens with Invincible :conwayshrug:

Ah, that would also have been a good question - didn't know/haven't tried on Nemesis.
Thanks for the info. Given that, Judgment probably also won't "pierce" through Invincible, as you said.
