Has to be done on a normal run with no mods (ascension level doesn't matter). Hope this helps.
Not much point of having achievements if they work with mods. Someone would just create a mod that adds all missing achievements.
That's incredibly ignorant of a view to hold. Not all mods are cheats.
Plus you don't need mod support for some dingus to use a program to unlock all achievements for a game on Steam.
Regardless of whether that particular mod was used, mods sometimes make achievements easier.
Lets say that a mod adds a way to easier get rid of cards. Then the achievement for winning with 5 cards or less gets easier.
Or it might add a feature that lets you choose starting cards. Then "beat a boss in 1 turn" gets easier.
And so on. The point of Achievements is to get them done on a level playing field, so people can compare their efforts fairly.
Achievements are 100% for your own fun/challenge, nobody gives a crap about your achievements, not even your own mother.
There are mods that literally let you unlock achievements with mods, so your whole argument is moot.
I have only one achievement left for Slay the Spire (besides the "Get all other achievements" one, of course), and that is the "Speed run" one. No way I will be able to win in under 20 minutes, but I will never install a mod that would make it seem like I did, either. That would be flipping my middle finger at those who did it, and earned the achievement. They deserve the proper reward of a low percentage achievement.
Tbf, you could make a similar argument about every form of competition or accomplishment.
Good job! :D
But, I'll give the above "don't think, just do" a try since there's nothing to lose. Sounds like something Bruce Lee would have approved of :).
