Snecko Eye is the worst boss relic in the game
You can't change my mind.

I would rather Velvet Choker than the sneko turd, holy hell it's so useless.

This. There's top players that take Sneko from time to time, it's one of those relics that can be very good given the correct deck/artifact combo.

The tiny house, now that thing sucks.
Tiny House still better than Chemical X though...

To be fair, Chem X isn’t a boss relic…

I'd argue Chem x isn't that bad for Watcher expulser (SP?) and Ironclad Whirlwind focused builds. It's situational as heck but I wouldn't say bad.

Chemical X is also great if you're playing Defect and need block but aren't getting those ice orbs. Better still if you have the calipers to go with it.

You can't compare boss relics and non boss relics that way.

Would literally rather have chem X than tiny house- sure it's possible that chem X doesn't do anything as I can't find the cards for it, but at least it does something powerful. +2 "free" cast on any X card can be insanely powerful, that's a 0-cost 16 damage whirlwind every time it pops up, not to mention malaise, multi-cast, and conjure blade. Reinforced body is now a 0-cost 18 block. Tiny house just makes you feel bad because it is bad :(

Chem X is pretty rad but please tell me y'all aren't seriously putting Conjure Blade in your decks.

Only if deva is present and I have more energy than I know what to do with. Agree that it is not a consideration for most decks, it's mostly a flex card :D

Why not? It's insane with a chem x + miracles to boost it then go into wraith stance and one shot bosses.

Rarely. It depends, but I usually skip it. When it works, though, it's a lot of fun.

Hey, if I had to pick between tiny house and busted crown, I know what I'm picking.

Forcing the infinite gets old after a while and it's not like Watcher actually has difficulty in beating A20H... May as well have some fun with off-meta cards while at it

Sneko eye is an incredibly powerful relic that over time has lost some degree of popularity due to refinement of strategies for things like The Silent and Watcher making the relic overall not ideal for at least half the classes in the game. It's still a potent relic that draws you through your deck fast and can put in amazing work with some ironclad and defect runs.

Yes, especially on Ironclad where a lot of his good cards are 2-3 cost. People don't seem to understand when to take it I guess, or math? A 2-cost card has 2 positive outcomes (0/1 cost), 1 neutral outcome (2 cost) and 1 negative outcome (3-cost). A 3-cost card is 3 positive 1 neutral. If most of your deck consists of high cost cards then there's a 50% chance you will be rewarded, and a 75% overall to be okay with it. At +2 card draw per TURN which is insane.

I think what a lot of players miss about Snecko Eye is they look at it as 1.5 energy per card, so all your 1-cost cards got worse, right? Well, no. If you have a deck of all 1-cost cards, then with 3 energy you can normally play 3 cards per turn. But if you run the math on a seven-card Snecko hand, it turns out you can play an average of 3.25 cards per turn.

That's averages though, and what we all know is clearly going to happen is that 75% of your hand is going to become a 3. :junsmirk:

(this is a joke)

Yup, good point, even if it is just a joke and not meant to be taken literally. It's not enough to JUST play the odds, we also have to play the hand we're dealt. Playing the odds only means you win more than you lose, which might be fine when no one loss prevents you from continuing on to the rest of the wins and losses you would have had, but that isn't quite how this game works. All Sneko Eye users keep this in mind, even if we don't always say it.
