Right, I think they are good cards if you are playing as ironclad. But if you are silent they are usually useless since most of her cards only cost 1 to play
What sucks is that you have to choose one, but what if you really want to draw an important power? Usually the net gain with madness is better in long fights, but I, too, sometimes wonder if it was really necessary and whether I could've handled the curse instead which would've allowed me a more controlled upgraded at the next rest site.
The only deck type I can see it being really negative in is hyper-aggressive decks that don't tend to shuffle more than 1 or 2 times. Really like it being in the game though.
2 Madness cards is better than a curse anyways.. Unless you're running a Vu-Du-Doll strength stack deck.
It's nice to use on high cost cards too if you're lucky, and it keeps a high-cost card like that the entire battle. Especially helpful when you need to 0 off certain cards like Barricade and Demon form, or even bludgeon.
It does have its downsides though, if most of your cards are 0 cost already.
I don't exactly hate the event. I find it pretty helpful, actually. :P
i love inifinite.
You could have onomamori or a shop to remove it just after. I also regularly take the curse actually when on a large deck and just forget about it since I knos I will see once at the beginning and maybe once again.
