It combos better with Evolve, it does more damage per card.

In a days of old immolate i tried to build a deck arround wounds. Havent got neither second wind but now you reminded me of power through.
I still think that decks based on status cards are not consistant and not that strong.
Would be cool if someone could post here an ascension or just usual screenshot of winning status-based deck.

Power Through for block, let the wounds increase the power of a subsequent Fiend Fire (or provide even more block, if you have Second Wind and are looking at the Champ trying to remove your face with an Execute. Even *more* block if you have Feel No Pain in effect already).
Or maybe you have a decent card that you don't want to exhaust yet, and a True Grit+ you want to play for some more block (maybe a Chosen is trying to hit you for 30+ or w/e); then you can exhaust one of the Wounds itself.
