A reason to wild strike over reckless charge?
I see none now.

More damage per the single card.

You don't always see both, do you? In A1, if you want to kill 2+ elites, you want all the damage you can muster, generally speaking.

You only draw 5 cards/turn without draw power. Wild strike still out performs a basic strike and pairs with perfected while reckless does not. Unless you already have better cards in hand to spend energy on, wild>reckless and having both would be even better than pulling basic strikes.

Wild strike floods your draw if you cant clear wounds. If i have true girt+- sure.

It combos better with Evolve, it does more damage per card.

Imo, the status cards they inflict should be reversed, but the extra damage can be useful early.

Realistically all they'd need to do to make it slightly better is add the wound to your hand so you don't need to play evolve first or exhaust it right away like with power through.

15 block for 1? Why wouldn't you if you had ways to use the wounds.

I'm not exactly a pro Ironclad, but I feel like Power Through is actually Very Good in an exhaust-focused deck? At the very least, if you run Evolve and don't play it *too* often, it's extremely good value with literally no downside.

Sounds reasonable
In a days of old immolate i tried to build a deck arround wounds. Havent got neither second wind but now you reminded me of power through.

I still think that decks based on status cards are not consistant and not that strong.
Would be cool if someone could post here an ascension or just usual screenshot of winning status-based deck.

Seems so.

Power Through for block, let the wounds increase the power of a subsequent Fiend Fire (or provide even more block, if you have Second Wind and are looking at the Champ trying to remove your face with an Execute. Even *more* block if you have Feel No Pain in effect already).

Or maybe you have a decent card that you don't want to exhaust yet, and a True Grit+ you want to play for some more block (maybe a Chosen is trying to hit you for 30+ or w/e); then you can exhaust one of the Wounds itself.

I guess the first one doesn't really count because 5 EN, but the second one nicely demonstrates the power of evolve + feel no bainis + reckless charge.
