snek eye and confusion is op with ironclad?(answered - it's really not).
first time around it's fun, but when you find it second time in a row it's annoying how gamebreaking it is and how your comfy deck balance goes out of this window. i suggested removing draw 2 cards per turn, confusion alone is powerful enough. or better yet, nerf confusion by making cards cost at least 1 energy.
i'm fairly new to this game so i'm probably wrong, pls don't bully.
EDIT: thread can be considered closed because i just got into a situation where i would rather not take this artifact. i got it from the first boss chest and because most of my cards are low cost and i have demon form(which means i'm highly likely to win), i don't think taking snecko is worth the risk. so in the end, it's not all that overpowered, but of course if anyone wants to continue discussing this artifact and confusion status effect then go on.

Not all that broken. If your deck is strong enough to kill in 2-3 turns then snek should be no problem.

Furthermore, you can actually negate his confusion effect if you use an ancient potion.
Same goes for 'The Chosen' enemy.

As for snecko eye (the relic) being OP, it's all about RNG. I'd say you just got lucky with it.

i know it's very lucky that i got it, but a negative effect of an artifact shouldn't act as a positive one most of the time. even though my deck mostly consists of already cheap cards so far, confusion helps me more often than it hurts me.
edit: lost the run, but no way i could've won in the first place, no decent cards whatsoever, died on city boss. snek eye made it worse considering most of my cards cost 1 energy, but this is the first time i get such bad luck with cards, so it's not really to blame for failure.

We only bully those who want to make the game easier. This is actually interesting.

Think you should compare snecko eye to an energy relic, something like choker which gives 1+ energy but restricts decks to 6 cards per turn. For some decks that restriction is meaningless, it can also destroy a lot of decks snecko eye is similar.

Question, is snecko too generically powerful or do snecko give too much of an advantage to a small niche? Or is snecko about as good as any other energy relics? It's possible to work it out mathematically given some theoretical decklists... But I really don't want to do the math on this one.

a guy who made 200 runs on ascesion 15 has 18 wins and 0 losses with snecko eye, granted he is not your average player, but in my noob experience, if you get this artifact with ironclad and get cards that you need to win in the first place, then it greatly increases your chances. i don't know how good is it with silent, i hardly played her, but it doesn't seem too bad either.

The RNG of Snecko Eye is both a positive that outweighs its negative and a negative that outweighs its positive.

It could turn your entire hand of, normally, 3 energy cost cards... to 0s or 1s.

On the flipside it can turn your, normally, 0 and 1 cost cards to 2s and 3s.

If you build around Snecko Eye by taking high cost cards then, yes, it does seem to "have no downside". You are, essentially, stacking the odds further in your favor. However since it is entirely on the whim of RNG, it can royally screw you over.

Live by RNG, Die by RNG.

As you said, you are fairly new. You probably haven't really been screwed over by Snecko Eye because you were either "lucky" or you simply haven't used it enough. Small sample sizes tend to breed bias.

i got screwed by it right now because i had mostly low-cost cards, the thing is, i feel like i would've lost anyway and snek eye didn't help or hurt me in the end, because i've reached city boss 2 without decent cards, or at least cards that i can play decently, of course some pro would've made it work i'm sure.
