Malaise vs Disarm: which one do you like the most?
I want to start off saying that I'm not asking with one is stronger, but which one you like the most.

Before I say my opinion, I want to list a couple of pros and cons from both cards that I've found while playing (feel free to add more if you want).

Disarm (Ironclad Class) :
+ only costs 1 energy;
+ doesn't ask for all your energy pool;
+ if upgraded, it takes 3 STR for 1 energy, which is the best deal energy/STR in the game;
- can't take more than 3 STR;
- doesn't make the enemy weak;
- a single Artifact buff makes this card useless;

Malaise (Silent Class) :
+ in an energy deck, it can utterly destroy a boss by giving him -12 STR and 12 weak debuffs;
+ when upgraded, it has some value even if you cast for 0 energy;
+ can get through enemies with 1 artifact, giving at least the weak status;
- it screw up your turn if played first (not a card fault, but a player fault for not planning, but still worth mentioning);
- can't be used at full value with other X cost cards;
- requires at least 2 mana to be impactful;

In my opinion, I kinda prefer Disarm over Malaise, but that's because I prefer Ironclad's playstyle in general over Silent's one, even tho Malaise can be a one-card victory against most of the bosses.

I like disarm more in theory but it's rare that it actually works the way I want it to, oftentime the mana is better spent on other stuff. Malaise is so easy to use if you just spend an upgrade on it.

Malaise for big fights, Disarm for little fights. Probably Malaise+ over Disarm+ for ittle fights, definitely Malaise+ over Disarm+ for big fights. Absolutely Malaise with Ice Cream or Snecko Eye. Malaise also benefits from all the Silent bonus energy cards.

I think that cashes out to "yay Malaise."

Unupgraded I prefer disarm. Upgraded I prefer malaise. I don't think I've ever picked malaise in act 1 without feeling uncomfortable with it. It's like randomly finding nightmare.

It's hard to compare them directly since they're on different characters.

If I see Malaise on Silent, it's almost an instant and unquestioned take. Even if I already have one. Every Silent build likes this card, and very few cards are picks *over* Malaise.

If I see Disarm on Ironclad, I'm a little more likely to be "eh" about it and pick a different uncommon. Maybe because on Ironclad, I'm always looking for better attacks, rather than debuffs.

If it's a Diverse daily... I don't know. It might still depend on which character it is.

The Silent benefits a lot more from crippling a single enemy than the Ironclad does, since that's well within her normal playstyle. The Ironclad seems to want to just spend his energy two-shotting enemies.

malaise with the ton of energy generation cards the Silent can pull out not counting on relics is in theory better it also weakens the enemy for the same ammount of turns, if upgrade is X(your energy)+1 meaning u can use it at 0 energy and still having benefits (but why, why would you do any of that) this applies aswell to doppelganger can be use at 0 energy if upgraded.
