Already bought it on Steam but I would also love to see and buy a DRM free release!

Just watched Lathland's playthrough and this looks interesting. Would definitely buy a DRM-free version.

No, some games make use of Steam DRM. But Steam does not equal DRM. Plenty of games that are sold on Steam have absolutely no DRM. You have no need to ever touch an Steam Client to download, install and play Kerbal Space Progam, FTL, all of Paradox games, etc...

99% of games on Steam are tied to the Steam DRM

Indeed. And that was the point of my original comment, saying that I believe this specific game does not have DRM.
Still, many users want to be able to buy DRM free copies with proper installers outside of Steam.

I would rather see them put development time/effort into gameplay content, 3rd character and balancing. Basically, working towards a final product, ready for release, before they look into stuff like this. To me it only seems to be a very niche group of potential buyers who are interested in this. But that is just my opinion, feel free to disagree.

Yeah, that's pretty much why GOG went bump in its first year.. :)

A year on and this gets a GOG release. A year too late though I'm afraid, as I know at least 2 people who would have bought it for 20GBP then, but will be waiting for a discount now as their interest has waned/they have other games to be excited about.

"Strike while the iron is hot" is very apropos.

If we`re being poetic "a drop in the ocean"
is probably more relevant :conwayshrug:
