Velvet choker: gain 1 energy, you can't play more than 6 cards per turn. Upgraded: gain 2 energy, you can't play more than 9 cards per turn.
that doesn't add anything to the discussion...
let your mind walk freely
Would be fun though. One of the earliest mods, le disciple, delves into relic interactions.
Anyway, maybe the new character could be a ranger of sorts, though that'd probably be green in color.
We know for a fact StS had sold more than 1.5 million copies by 2019
for Steam spy, the total owner should be around 4 million now... and that`s Steam only.
We know Megacrit is a 2-man team that contracted a single graphic for most of the Art...
if you consider the standard 30% cut on sales, some basic math tells us they should be able to afford food... for at least a couple more months
Meanwhile Mega Crit has given support to this game with balance changes and new content for years without charging a cent. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
They too probably aren`t starving, but their "food security" is definitely less...secured(?)
He'd probably be more defensive than ironclad, but not have the insane combos of the silent. Maybe one architype could be an "eye for an eye" playstyle, dealing a lot of damage when getting attacked and maybe reflecting debuffs back to the attacker.
Maybe they're a master of arms and have tons of magical weapons they can swap around like the watcher swaps stances? They could also combo with certain cards.
All things considered, I wouldn't be against the devs charging for additional characters at this point in time as long as the price wasn't egregious. MegaCrit has shown a focus on quality that leads me to the conclusion that they deserve success in a way that larger companies which drop tons of DLC do not.
