Busted crown.... broken?

I just play a run (today daily challenge) and as soon as I got the busted crown, I coudnt have any card as a reward. I got the gold but no card. Even when I bought the orrery I didn't get anything. I could still buy at the shop though. Happen to anyone else?

Binary: Card rewards contain only 2 cards.
Busted Crown: Gain 1 Energy at the start of each turn. On Card Reward screens, you have 2 fewer cards to choose from.

You can't win without cheating anyway, the game has too much RNG, i removed all my strikes and had only like 3 cards vs sentries but then they destroyed me, it's terrible design to counter my strategy right off the bat

lol what a load of garb, you can quite easily beat the game, just look up jorbs if you dont know how.

It is annoying that Binary+Busted Crown also prevents you from choosing NOT to take a card - you can't get the +2 hp instead.
