Expunger possible bug.
I got the card expunger from "conjure blade". It's supposed to deal 9 damage X times.

I was at 3 mana, and the card read: "deals 9 damage 0 times". I used it and sure enough it dealt no damage.

Is there something I'm missing? Is it affected by another card or stat that I'm not seeing?

The X on expunger refers to the X on conjure blade. If you play conjure blade with 0 energy left, you create an expunger that will always hit 0 times.
