do the devs of this game have anything to do with plants vs zombies
i was playing today. have only like 4 hours in im pretty new. and i noticed one of the relics called happy flower or something like that looks just like the sunflower from plants vs zombies. I know pop cap made pvz but i cant help but notice the artwork being similar to plants vs zombies as well as the music and then this relic sparked my thoughts.

Just curious to know if anyone knows if maybe the dev team for slay the spire had worked on or with plants vs zombies in the past. im just curious as to why they would have a relic so similarly close to a plant in plants vs zombies otherwise.

No, I'm pretty certain they don't have any connection to it. It's just a joke or easter egg, as are all the other references to various games, movies, manga, etc.

Considering that Pop Cap is also located in Seattle, it wasn't a bad guess, though! :-)

We're neighbours. That would explain the spire that looks into my back yard.

It all makes sense if you just imagine the spire as a metaphor for Amazon. ;-)

That would explain why the spire keeps ending me things and they are already in my house when I come home from work.
