Nerf Hyperbeam on Bronze Automaton
Nerf Hyperbeam on Bronze Automaton, the damage when it hits your character is too strong and overpowered when depleting HP points.

Went way off the cannon there.
No, he doesn't become a regular enemy if the attack was nerfed, although the nerfing does feel unneccessary.
If a nerf ever was needed, I think the most necessarry would be to delay the attack by another turn or 2.

I would rather face a Bronze Automaton with no Hyper Beam, than each of the following:

A Chosen with 300 HP.
A Sphere Guardian with 300 HP.
A snake plant with 300 HP.
Any Elite pack in Act 2 (with no HP buffs)
Triple Cultist pack with combined 300 HP

How is he NOT a complete joke without hyper beam?

Nerf = doesn't mean remove.

Yes I am. It is important to me to keep the game from getting nerfed to the ground. I want this game to succeed and be even greater then it is now. So giving feedback on that on every nerf topic is as helpfull as I can get.

But tell me? Why do you think your opinion is so much more helpfull? You seem to want to ban anyone with any opinion different then yours. And if you lose an argument you just lower yourself into namecalling.
I think he means that you can discuss and disagree with the OP without the sarcasm and derision. I personally think the game is amazingly balanced. Makes winning streaks so much more satisfying.

Thank you.

Knee-jerk reaction thread #5000.

While you're getting one-shot by a 50 damage hyper beam, I'm over here one-shotting the boss with a 500 damage strike after limit breaking a few times.

There's been a number of times where i would've killed that boss in one more turn but only have 30-40 hp left for the 51 damage hit, but usually that's because I didn't have good draw or discard

The champ is less crazy now after the update without being directly nerfed, but his execute is way deadlier

I did see the 'Which character is better' discussion. I think Ironclad got more votes than the Silent.

If it did any less damage, it would be a complete joke. As I said earlier, the Slime Boss in Act 1 hits for 35. if he's only hitting for like 44, when he's already swinging for 20 a turn normally (he also ramps up, so he's probably hitting for like 30-35 late in the fight, but I wouldn't know because I always either kill him or weaken him at that point), he might as well just NOT hyper beam because stunning himself hurts the boss more than it hurts you.

If it came any later, there would be no punishment for crappy decks, as they'd have all the time in the world to kill the minions with their basic strikes and burn through his artifact so be can be weakened (it really has to be a terrible deck to still have minons up on the hyper beam turn as is). Also turns him into a complete joke.
It isn't that hard to set up a strong block turn to deal with it. Ironclad has Barricade, Silent has Blur. Barring those, it shouldn't be too hard to debuff him 3 times, Weaken him in time, and get some blocks up that turn.

The problem with him/her is though.. They keep joining in on every single "nerf this enemy" thread and starts b*tching (pardon my french) at everyone that opposes it.

I understand Dabiz's sarcasm, the requests for nerfs are getting ridiculous, not to mention, no one has ever posted a reasonable way to nerf an enemy, if they could think of a way, they could post it in the Suggestion part of the Boards.

OP has played for 3 hours. 3 hours.. And is asking for a nerf. How can you expect people not to get sarcastic? Within 3 hours, you don't know any reasonable strategies, because if you do, you wouldn't ask for an Automaton nerf. This is (as most "pls nerf" threads are) yet another case of "I'm too lazy to learn strategies, so let me just beg for nerfs instead". That's the problem when the gen pop starts playing difficult roguelikes(/lites).

I don't think holding grudges helps either.

Edit: Also, I'm not only on nerf discussions! If you bothered looking, you'd see other stuff.

So don't get your hp depleted? The boss is literally survive the hyperbeam and you win.

I don't think being a backseat moderator helps either.

I could constantly harrass anyone who complains about the game with inane crap as well if you want to play that game.

I think he does the hyperbeam multiple times.. and I think it gets stronger, I'm not 100% sure.

Hyperbeam is his signature move. It's what makes him cool. Surviving the hyperbeam or racing to kill him before hyperbeam is what makes this a bossfight. If you nerf the hyperbeam so that it's easier to survive, wtf is even the point of the encounter?

This is exactly it. Noobs would rather tear down everything good than git gud. Instead of asking "how do I beat this?" they go "I can't beat this, make it easier". And then when noobs have successfully destroyed a game they just migrate to the next one. Never learning the skills necessary to beat anything and when devs give them what they want they instead learn that they can whine their way to victory through patches.

If we don't notice you elsewhere it's probably because a) in the other discussions people tend to agree with you, and b) people aren't stalking you and tracking your forum behavior.
