Cards to break Spheric Guardian's defense for Ironclad?
There's Melter, but that doesn't show up for Ironclad...

Your snideness has been noted, but how are you peeling off 40 block on turn 1?

Generally this fight takes a while as Ironclad, unless you've got some insane strength scaling build (which is rather rare early into act 2). I recommend taking turn one to either prep (play powers) or to just dish out damage. Turn two is the debuff, but a rather weak hit. If you believe you can finish him on the next turn, I would just tank this damage and hit him. If not, block, play it slow. Expect to lose a bit of health to this guy, not too much though.

This is true, but the Spheric Guardian usually comes with a few stacks of artifact. Usually not worth trying to get through those artifact stacks as Ironclad, a lot of the common debuff attacks (uppercut, bash, clothesline, etc) cost 2 energy. If you manage to get the vuln, great. If not, it's really not that important.

I wish there was a card that removed that stupid debuff resist power.

well, there are 2 different relics that do it. turnip, the ♥♥♥♥ one, just makes you immune and pellats the good one can remove all debuffs.

Idk, usually you either decide to tank damage with your face to kill it faster if you don't feel comfortable trying to stabilize after the 5 turns of frail. Sorta depends if the act 1 boss was the guardian because otherwise you'll have more upgraded frontloaded damage by nature, like hemokinesis, an inflame with sword boomerang, whirlwind with a lantern and offering, etc.

Impervious + headbutt will do do some serious work, especially with turn one vulnerability.
