Defect is a worthless character.

Why play this dude when running into Reptomancer probably kills you by default unless you purposely pick a ♥♥♥♥ deck?

No wonder his win rates are so bad.

Purposely... good? Decent? Not sure what the word is supposed to be. Good and decent decks tend to win at any rate.

I think he might literally mean a "heart" deck. But single-suit decks are a big mistake in STS. You want to build balanced decks with all four suits, not tunnelvision on a single theme. This might be part of why he dies so much to Time Eater.

Bias cognition+artifacts, defragment.
Scaling cards + Frost orbs or buffers help a lot.

I’m nowhere near the best at the game. But defect can have some super insane runs from all the streamers I’ve seen.

watcher will give a better win rate overall, im not sure if ironclad has a better winrate than defect or not, it just comes down to getting some focus items drop.
