Average Player Time Invested?
I'm seriously giving consideration to this game. A likely buy for me, for a few reasons.

I'm curious about its holding power, though.

$25 is pretty steep for what is essentially a deck builder card game.

Does anyone know if there is a place to find average player time investment as a statistic???

Obviously, that information used to be available through steam spy, but that obviously went up in flames.

Short of that, I'd be curious to know how much time people have channeled into this title.

Just curious.

Yeah, I'm not really asking time to beat. I saw that page before posting.

My question is really TIME INVESTED.

Unless people only play through once.

lots of people have 500+ hours in it. I'm 1000+ and rising, myself.

I've personally got ~250 hours in this game.

Got my first win in around ~1 hour.

Beat A20 at around ~100 hours.

100% achievement at around ~150 hours.

It'll probably vary a lot from person to person though. I've seen people complaining that it took them 20-30 runs to get their first win.

Skim through the reviews and see how much time people spend on the game until they feel the urge to share their opinion (and probably keep playing afterwards)? Idk.

they are working on an andrioid port afaik.

I'm at only 66 hours, but I'm not even close to finishing the game. I still have yet to beat act 4 and just barely hit ascension 10 with one class. I will definitely be playing a lot more.

This is the kind of game I have in my favourites section at my steam library, games that are easy to motivate myself to pick up and don't require me to dedicate an entire weekend to the project. It's around 300 hours right now and I would not be surprised to see this to go into the thousands by the time I reach retirement. The replay value is not as high as a competetive multiplayer game like Codex but it's very good for a single player game.

96 hours for me. Started last month. I had very little rogue-like and card game experience prior. Currently ascension 6 on all characters. Long road ahead.

I can easily see myself at 400 hours and still have things to do.

I'm at 182 hours and counting. I already had 150 hours before I came back and found out about the mods. Playing with the new mod characters is going to give me 100s of hours of new playtime.

Almost at 500 hours invested now. If you enjoy roguelike games where you can do multiple short runs and have a lot of variety between each then you will probably get your moneys worth. If you don't then you can still will invest at least a good 10-20 hours.

There is continue value in content with the ascension system which increases the difficulty with each level. There are also modifiers you can use to customize and make runs wacky or more difficult. Also the daily run where you can compete with others for high score on an identical run. The dailies always have randomized modifiers as well to keep it interesting.
I hate the game ... and I'm almost at 300 hours ... heh

edit : hmm ... make that almost 400 (398) omg ....
