any benefit to ascension mode?

i know it makes the game harder, sure, but are there any better rewards or anything? (faster earned xp, more gold, better chance of rare, etc)

or is it really just to add more challenge, to an already difficult game?

Technically you get more xp because there'll be more elites, but then you lose xp because it's harder to perfect bosses and it's harder to get sub 45 minutes when stuff has more hp.

There's an ascension score modifier too, but that's about it.

If you beat the ascension 10 you get an achievement.

If you really think this game is difficult then you should not try ascension yet, that's for sure.

ok. thank you all for your comments. i will probably stick with normal mode for while longer, at least until i get all the unlocks finished.
