Mod not working

I keep getting a 'ERROR: Unable to find dependency 'stslib' for mod 'hubris'. or any other mod I try. WHat do I need to do to fix this?

You have to install Stslib, Base Mod, and ModtheSpire (from steam workshop) to make mods actually work
