Killing the Transient

Just wondering if it's possible/anyone's done it and, if so, if the rewards or anything else are any different from when he dies his usual death

I killed him with a very lean ramping poison deck, if I recall correctly. All I got was an achievement.

I mean, what's the point of an award outside of an achievement? If you can kill the transient... you're basically golden, unless you royally screw up, you really should lose

Silent is your best bet

I have done it as the Defect, the key is to have a ton of turbo cards and the relic that gives you a card every single time your hand gets empty.

Basically Silent is the best as some people said. What you'd want is a Poison Build with 2 Catalyst+ (1 is OK if too you have Nighmare), Well-Laid Plans+ or Runic Pyramid, and ideally Burst. As Starter you can use either some Deadly Poison+ or Bouncing Flask+. For best chances, start a non-ascension run and only aim on killing the Transient.

I've been smashing my head against a wall for the last couple weeks trying to get it with ironclad. Read this post and tried it with silent and got it first try with a poison deck a couple days ago.
