Resetting Ascension?

I have beat Ironclad and Silent on lvl 15 right as the Defect was released and now with all the new content I want to start over from the beginning at 1. I can manually lower it down and then raise it as I win but that is way less satisfying than having to grind it out to unlock the next level. Is there a way to start over or create a new user to play a different game? That might be a useful feature in the future if two siblings wanted to play their own seperate games on the same steam account, or husband and wife, bf and gf. Either way I spent 20 minutes trying to find a way and got no where. Help? and or if the devs see this maybe food for thought in the future?

You can either delete the silent save file or edit it to set it back to ascension 0.

The file is STSDataTheSilent in the preferences folder (in the game folder). There's a line there saying "ascension level", just change the value to 0.

funny after a couple weeks of not playing I came back from the mountains and found my silent's ascension level reset so now I'm starting from 1 again but i didn't do anything

Yeah i've seen some people complaining about that.. i don't know what is happening but hasn't happened here yet..

I had the happen with my defect ascension as well
