If you have a finisher card you must keep your deck thin.
If you struggle with large deck try true grift+ and other removing card with ironclad, you can build an archtype around.
There is the bird statue, the cleric, the beggar, ancient writing, falling down, the campfire spirits, the purifying shrine, neow (although removing cards by neow has a hefty price)...
(did I forget an event?)
There is also the uncommon smiling mask relic, which makes card removal at the merchant cost 50 everytime. And don't forget about the empty cage.
