Havoc and Die Die Die aren't the play screen. The play screen is where I like to view that artwork.
And this is why the new artwork feels out of place. The old artwork blended in with the rest of the game, so much so that their were cards that used the exact same art. I couldn't ever imagine the new art being used for a card, because it wouldn't look like any of the other cards. I liked that the play screen looked like it fit in with the cards.
Maybe the New Artwork is just a taste of things to come? Maybe all the Cards will get update to the New Artwork too?
IMO, I think the New Art looks really good but I agree it is out of place in context of the Cards. However I think some Cards, like Noxious Fumes, could really use an update since they, IMO, don't look very good.
Old artwork looked like a placeholder to be honest.
