Is viable a deck focused in BLUDGEON as win condition ?
I have been thinking in this card for a while. Can be worth making a deck focused in that card ? Used on vulnerable enemys is insane and with double tap is amazing. Also, is very expensive so i don't know if is worth to spend all energy in that card and end turn with no armor.

I wouldn't say a deck completely focused on bludgeon, but a deck that can get the Snecko eye boss relic can defiantly utilize it. Since it's a 3 cost attack it has a much higher chance of being discounted by confusion.

I've only really used it to a good degree once. I used the cards Warcry, Headbutts and a lot of Havocs. Putting bludgeon on top of deck any playing it for free was an interesting strat.

Yeah, that can work, even if it's not necessarily a "top tier" build. As mentioned, Snecko Eye helps a lot, but two energy relics would be another way to manage the cost of the card. The Necronomicon is obviously great with Bludgeon, too.

Bludgeon is a really good card but there isn't really a Bludgeon deck.

Necronomicon? Yes please.

The best Bludgeon deck I've found that doesn't require relics is a few Bludgeons with Enlightenment. A small, focused deck with those cards and a couple Flame Barriers can be pretty excellent but is difficult to build up to. You pretty much need the Enlightenment from the beginning to make it through the early stages.

Well, i just ended a run in ascension 3 with a victory. My last attack used was Bludgeon indeed. I jump to the conclusion that it can be very effective in the first stage (i picked as a random card in the beginning). I also choosen an offering and 3x seeing red, and endend turns with 7, 8 and 9 energy. Other Amazing card was Shockwave, demon form (worked only because i had so much energy some turns ) and whirlwind of course, made me an easy battle against the awakenned

Even fully upgraded, Bludgeon is like 42 damage, aka 14 damage per energy. 14 for 1 energy isn't great. Early on it's great because strikes/defends are terrible, and you don't have many good cards, and it's a good way to increase your overall damage with minimal upgrades (as opposed to upgrading 3-5 other attack cards).

But later on... it's not enough damage to build a deck around. If you pick one up, there's ways to synergise it with your deck (plenty listed in this thread), but it's not worth activing trying to use a win condition. Same reason Perfected Strike decks are semi-bad, you CAN build a deck around it, but the return on investment isn't worth the damage you get out of it.

I mean, just depends on what you get. I got a ♥♥♥♥ hand, but won ascension 10 with a focus on necronomicurse + bludgeon.

Necro + Double Tap + Bludgeon = Bye-bye bosses/elites.

Snecko eye + 2-3 bludgeons. Fun fun times.

Bludgeon is a good intermediate-tier card. If you can work around the cost somehow that makes it very playable. It can one-shot some enemies, which is a fun aspect.

There's other cards like Heavy Blade and Searing blow that outpace it in specific decks, but if your deck isn't there yet it can do the job of big damage-dealer easily.

I beat the act 3 boss last night with 22 strength - bludgeon would have hit for approx 84, whereas heavy strike was 150 (also had pen nib). I picked heavy strike. I think if you are strength stacked to a certain point, bludgeon gets underwhelmed by the cheaper card.

I've done a Bludgeon Dual Tap Snecko Eye build before with Bash/Uppercut/Clothesline also being available for cost reductions. Dealing 84+ damage for as little as zero energy is nice.
