Shiv deck vs Time Eater
Does anyone else just forfeit the run as soon as they see they have Time Eater boss while running a shiv build? Or is it actually possible to kill him with it?

It's possible if you have decent synergies like Kunai + Shuriken / enough Accuracy to run the deck. It's just that if you have an unorganized shiv deck you'll probably die

Nope, just beat ascension 8 with a shiv-dexterity hybrid. Had kunai and a ton of cloak+daggers, played out all my damage cards, had mummified hand so I could spam caltrops/footwork so I had 13+ thorns and 8+ dexterity. I basically spammed my cards until his count was around 9 or 10 and used dodge+roll/blur to keep my block next turn so I can continue spamming.

Reminds me of when I totally disrespected the Awoken One by playing 12 powers with the Defect (in beta) and wiped him.

If you can reliably play exactly 12 cards per turn, Time Eater is doable (especially if you have Kunai, Shuriken, Fan, After Image, etc).

If you're normally playing 8-ish cards per turn, then, yeah, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

beat A14 with a shiv-y deck, so no. I think in some ways it's actually easier cause you can manage his clock more reliably tbh
it's possible; you may want to have a mechanism to up the shiv damage a bit (i.e. accuracy). plus like
