Is a Zeus/Thunder God Build Viable long game??
Where one focuses on cards that allow for lighting orb creation and Evoking, some focus ideally as well as something like thunderstike as a finisher. The idea would be to try and endlessly cast lighting orbs in a turn to deal as much damage out from your orbs as possible.

Using Relics like say the Data Disk maybe as well as the Gold Plated ♥♥♥♥ to dish out as much possible damage from both passive and evoking.

I feel like the cards maybe there, most all with Lockon now being a possible perm thing. But I wonder if the arctype have enough to kill the end bosses :/

Should be able to with the right cards aslong as the set up dont take to long.

It is enough. I was able to beat the game at Asc 8 or 9 with such build. Time-Eater gave a bit headache but only becouse my deck had 0 bonus focus and i had no weakness debuffs at all. My lightnings were 3(8) damage whole run, but its still works when there are so much of them.

I also didn't have thunderstrike, my finisher was a X+1 lighting evoke. With double energy boost i ramped up to 16 energy in a turn evoking 17 lightnings

Get 3 static discharge +, amplify just for more thunder balls if occasion is met, energy fields you will need em, Electric Storm+, enjoy your 48 counter dmg (minimal) per hit you recieve and your +108 dmg electric stor if they hit you twice (if u only pull off 6 orbs per hp hit) with ten is madness like 80 counter dmg per hit plus 180 dmg electric storm if u hitted twice and that keeps adding.
Do it with Darkness Orbs? You will get 24+ damage per Evoke instead of only 8.

I had the most beautiful run last night with Sozu, the relic that gives 2 energy after a rest, the relic that gives 1 energy on the first round of combat, the channel X lightning card, an Aggregate, 3 Double Energies, and 2 Seeks (all upgraded save Aggregate). First round kill VS the Time Eater: start with 7 energy, use aggregate on a draw pile of 18 to get an extra 3 energy bringing it up to 9, use Seek to find some of the combo and the second seek, then repeat. Play the 3 double energies for 72 energy, and then channel 73 Lightning Orbs.

I have no idea if it's usually viable, but it certainly works in an OTK combo.

Edit: Darkness is a lot harder to get that Lightning though, and the Thunderstrike card is frankly insane if you can channel lots of orbs.

Total glass cannon but viable. I tend to slowly die when trying it since defense is low and you kinda need to luck into a good combo for those OTK's. Raining down destruction is really fun though.

Btw just had an early multicast with an early double energy+ and turbo+ thats funny but slow.

Stack + Leap + a few 0-cost cards + light card draw is insane defense for a passive orb cycling deck.

Yeah FTL is and incredible 0 cost for cicling.
Guess I'll keep trying to get this arctype working then haha... if I can avoid my bad habit of bloating the deck >.<.

and as for the glass cannon issue, as other have said stack+Leap with 1 or 2 other very low cost defense tools like maybe even Genetic Algrythme (SP?) should give armor enough to last in theory.

Im also curious if one could do like a FrostLord build with Blizzard but that seems unlikely.

The thing with genetic algoryth..... is i dont like it, i know is supose to be scaling and such, but use and exhaust? Early game is just a useless defense card and you gonna waste it to just make it scale, when it finally needs to get use well, u may have a semi-decent defense card for 1 energy cost but only once if it didn't exhaust but only triggered the defense scaling once per combat would be better but then u need to make it a rare card coz late game would be stupid with that card, auto shields+ leap+ give a good amount of block for being 1 cost, Force field gives a ♥♥♥♥ ton of defense and imo is a very good card considering how many 0 cost cards the defect has.
