Ah, well, I use the Ironclad. And its difficult getting my hands on Dex-potions. I'm very unlucky at this game that I'm glad I even make it to level 3.
I also usually don't know what cards to dump first, seeing as the usual decks I go with are more heavy-hitting based instead of defense. (It's hard to do both without just getting an entire 'block' hand when the boss plans a debuff/buff)
Ironclad:
If it's rampage, don't waste your time chipping away at him with other negligible attacks.
If it's any form of strength ramp, focus on playing the cards that benefit the most from it.
If it's barricade, maximize body slam damage with vulnerable if you can't outblock him for an otk.
Silent:
If it's poison, one-shot him with catalyst or stack blur as quasi barricade. Weaken if necessary.
If it's shiv, carefully plan how many shivs you produce or they might end up in your discard pile.
If it's discard, try to work with what you have instead of pointlessly going infinite.
Playing 6 cards a turn isn't even bad, by the way, but only with purpose. Usually this involves cycling to your best cards. The more of those you play, the higher your winrate.
There's also an exploit to keep in mind. If you play burst, the duplicated skill will be played even if it's technically the 13th one. This applies to velvet choker too, as a side note.
