So... I've been trying to get this achievement since it became available, but haven't found any success. Any of you wonderfull people have any advice for it?

Trade away the starting relic, naturally. The best I've managed was lucking into Snecko's Eye with the Silent. Then picking up leg sweeps and dashes and poison and card draw. Made it to the final boss twice with that and once nearly won except for a bad draw at an inopportune time. Otherwise, it doesn't go too well.

I've never had a good Ironclad attempt. Maybe if I got Snecko's Eye with him, but I still don't think his cardset is good enough to manage a no-other-relics run. Lots of offense but so very little defense. Perhaps if you got super lucky and managed a rampage redraw deck...

Of course, any of the "get these two cards and remove your starting 10 cards" builds would probably work on account of them being infinite damage deals, but that's some serious luck.

I used Ironclad with his starting relic, then I believe I got Offering from Neow's "Lose 99 gold, choose a rare card."

Not too tricky from there, I think I built a standard Rampage deck.

Standard rampage is turning out to be a lot harder than I would like with only ever base 3 energy, heh.

I've been trying a lot with ironclad. Managed to reach the last boss 3~4 times. Sadly the damage isn't there to kill the last boss with low energy. Even with a crazy doubletap+double offering+flex whirlwind the damage is lacking.
I'll try the silent more from now on, since you've had success with her(?).

I get the throw away starting relic for boss relic, and I get the slimy thing which give 1 energy, but no longer gain gold, I know it was the time to do the achievement, and I success with strength Ironclad, I get killed by Awaken One, but since I don't want to do it all over again I just use save & exit trick until I win :D

I used the Silent, poison turtle strategy. I got a footwork, after image, infinite blades, well-laid plans and noxious fumes. I didn't get catalyst but I was able to use a bouncing flask and crippling poison, along with apotheosis and 2 piercing wails. Essentially weaken and poison whilst trying to block all damage. I had alot more success with this than the 5 cards and under achievement.

Save scumming isn't nearly as effective as it used to be... In the most recent patch they made it so relics like Snecko Eye & Dead Branch are seeded, not random.
So now the only thing that can be save scummed is what order you play your cards and potions(and a few of the in-game events).

I just won with Ironclad, starter relic, barricade build. I kept the deck real small and got a lucky entrench from the second boss. Still can go wrong (run before was the same but lost to a shapes group because I couldn't overcome the damage output before the repulsor stuffed my deck), but it was very satisfying.

I got it with Silent and trading the relic. I happened to get the runic pyramid and built a Flechettes deck, but it's possible to get it with Snecko Eye or Sozu/Cursed Key.

Just managed to do it! After at least 100 tries, I've done it with the Silent and a 2x toxic fumes + A BUTT LOAD of defense and the slimy relic (energy but no money).
Even it taking a lot of time, it was very satisfying to grab the achievement.
Thanks everyone for sharing successful builds.

Just did it with a defect (blue one). No matter what hero you choose, there are just two options: small deck of cheap cards (because you have just 3 energy) or deck with energy boosting. And tons of luck.

There are more than two options. I can think of at least two more suggested by this very thread: 1) Snecko 2) Reading time stamps.

Oboi. Though these days Watcher is probably your best bet.

Re-rolling starting relic to runic pyramid on Silent is an easy way to beat this. Runic pyramid is essentially a super well-laid plans, which is a powerful card on Silent. Combine this with a poison bomb strategy (poison generation, catalyst, corpse explosion) and you're good to go.

I killed the Time Eater (with good draws) in 3 turns. I was lucky enough to have 2 Catalyst+ and 2 Catalyst in the deck. I didn't even have to use my Nightmare+ because I drew my Catalysts quickly.
