Here you can watch the speedruns - seems like going ironclad str+full offense is the preffered way.
Also: remember that the time you take to chose the whales blessing also counts as run time, so you shouldn't think too long
Some relics can be incredible, especially the bracelet do that you don't encounter enemies in ? rooms
Use potions when they save time, don't hestitate, this isn't ascension mode so the game is fairly easy
Some good card combos: dual wield + clash
Double tap + whirlwind/cleave or clash
Offering/seeing red with whirlwind
It feels like the most important determinant to success (provided you've got a working offensive deck) is what boss / mobs / map layout come up on the Beyond.
Sometimes you can just get a whirlwind necronomicon run and the game becomes easy as hell. Other times you’re screwed over by getting a deck that takes forever to get running like a demon form build.
Oh, and for those who think it is just because "you can't get it." Well, I got it on my 2nd try using a trackpad and laptop. Just silly to have an achievement like that.
