Pandora's Box = Best Relic 10/10

Not if it gives you 5 poison potions with no poison in your deck it isnt!!!!

Easiest run I had though was where I swapped my default relic for a random boss relic, which was the pandoras box. Think I screenshotted it somewhere.

Silence has a card that doubles/triples the amount of poison an enemy has, which is of course useless if you do not have any poison to put on the opponent in the first place. So pandoras box can give you a useless deck of cards.

Pandoras Box is like Snecko Eye. Can be really good or really bad. Usually both

You're referring to Catalyst and your Box contained only poisons so it wasn't completely useless. What made it useless is 0 block cards

You really have to be getting bored of the game to like Pandora's box. Its only plus side is that it make the game very interesting. Not better, interesting.

Well the cards it is transforming are pretty damn bad, so even if you get bad cards odds are they are at worst equal to the ones it replaced. It's kind of a moot relic at the very worst, assuming every card it gives you is pretty bad.

Except it is more than likely to kill you if your balance between defense and offense cards get whacked.

EDIT: But in all seriousness the box and astro are sort of last resort relics. They can save otherwise screwed run if you don't get better boss relics.
They should somehow balance the offense/defence ratio of the cards you receive. Right now there's a huge chance you'll get screwed because you can get all attack cards. Having 4x5 block cards is almost always better than having 0 block cards :)

I can agree with that. I only ever consider these relics when I'm beyond screwed without them, but so far they've only managed to screw me harder. Eh whatever. Easy enough to abandon run and start over.

Astrolabe can change 3 useless strike into 1~2 good upgraded card and 1~2 useless (upgraded) card. (but more likely more good than bad card)
I really like this relic when other are worst/when I doesn't need energy.

I don't get the issue with Pandora, or transformation in general. Non-starters are better than starters, and if not all of them work together, well you were gonna be removing some strikes/defenses eventually anyways so no loss there. The main risk is ending up with no block, but Silent keeps her Survivor and Neutralize which were her best defensive options anyways, while Ironclad's starting relic makes all aggro more viable.
