How is callipers listed as rare relic?
Who would want this ♥♥♥♥ relic as rare reward? It negates card effects that let my block persist

Calipers should work with barricade / blur. If it doesn't, you should post this in the bug section.
Still EA game so these edge cases exist.

Dont know, I never got the combination up, however, it should negate them, and thus not be listed as rare... or.. at all.

Can you elaborate on why? It's basically a poor mans barricade and it's rare because it's build enabling.

Look at the other relics.
Champions belt is a Must-Have compared to this

Blur and barricade override Calipers effect. So there's no downside to it and in the case of blur can preserve bloc until you get blur active again.

As Ironclad, yeah calipers are not worth much, since you wouldn't start a block build without barricade. (It does allow you to start stacking some blocks already before playing your barricade card though.)

For the silent, it's actually not a bad relic at all if sometimes you don't manage to chain enough blur cards to keep that fat block counter up. It's a nice safety net, prevents your acumulated 70 blocks to go to zero just before that boss ulimate attack.

But yeah is it rare-top-tier? Absolutely not!

Exhaust builds on ironclad can generate a huge amount of block almost as a side effect. Calipers can work well with those builds, as well.

Edit: Personally I prefer it to be rare. It's very strong on a handful of builds (most of them for the slient). It's utterly worthless the rest of the time (the majority of the time). If it was more common, then that would mean I would get it more often. I don't want it more often.

Haha! Good point! But another approach would be to tweak the relic a bit. What about keeping half of your block. That way it would always be somewhat usefull. Would that be too OP maybe?
