Clarity and Sorting for Deck, Draw, and Discard Screens
I recently picked this game up, and I am having a lot of fun with it so far. It's very interesting to see this product evolve as more players pick it up and experiment with it, and I can gladly say that I enjoy the concept and gameplay.

That being said, I have some suggestions for organization of deck view:

  • Sorting: I often find myself looking for specific cards. Upgrading, card removal, and deck manipulation cards like Headbutt. I would like to see an easy sort function for all three of these screens that sorts cards by rarity, cost, type, effect and draw order (in the case of Frozen Eye).
  • Clarity: With cards such as Headbutt, Setup and Warcry that place certain cards on the top of your deck, the deck screen can sometimes be a little confusing to look at; if the ability to sort cards is added, it's possible that top-decked cards may get lost in the shuffle. In a game of strategy where every piece of information is necessary to make the best decisions, changes to deck order should be clear at all times.

Again, this game is a lot of fun already, and even though constant rebalancing will always lead to growing pains, I can only see Slay the Spire getting better from here on out. Keep up the good work, Mega Crit!

I would really like cards to be easier to "read", for example a coloured band on top would really help differentiate them and prevent me from confusing cards or forgetting to play that 0 cost shiv or whatever. They could be sorted as simply as attack, defense, both and special. They should also be sorted on screen based on what they do rather than how they were drawn from the pack. I'd rather have all my defense cards on the left for example and my attack cards on the right, and everything else in the middle.

+1 for sorting/organizing your deck. Grouping by attack, skill, power or sorting are some other ideas that would be helpful.

Sorting would be nice.
I also think the different card types (attack, power) should have colour identifiers or unique borders/layouts in addition to the text.
Unrelated, but a nice quality of life improvement I'd like to bring up. When you're asked to discard a card when every card in your hand is identical one should just be discarded automatically.
