You are nothing
Hey there,

I've now completed all the achievements aside from You Are Nothing, which requires you to kill a boss on turn 1. I can think of a few draw permutations that would allow for that to happen, mostly involving a series of flexes, limit breaks and a heavy strike, supported by enough draw or energy gain to make that happen. The Silent could potentially make it happen using some crazy chain ending with a huge Finisher.

I just wanted to check if anyone has managed this achievement, the deck they had, and which boss they managed to kill.

I just made a thread here with screenshots of the decklist, and my breakdown of how I managed it.

Silent could do it with Bouncing Flask+, Burst+, Catalyst+, Catalyst+ - that's 972 poison damage. All you need is 4 cards and 5 energy, easy right?

I did it with a Silent discard deck vs Donu and Deca.

Key cyele cards were two Calculated Gamble+, Nightmare+ (To hit the Calculated Gambles), Adrenaline+.

Key energy return cards one Concetrate+, one reg Concentrate, Tactician+.

Key damage cards Thousand Cuts+, Envenom+ with cheap/free damage cards.

I ended up using a Swiftness Potion early in the rotation to make sure there was no screw up with actually being able to go infinite. That being said it was probably unnecessary as the deck could pump itself to infinite turn one, I just didn't want to risk it with how hard it is to get a deck that can legit OTK a boss.

I actually just did this with an infinite draw/exhaust wounds deck.

It took a bit of luck to get it going turn 1, of course, but I managed to kill Donu&Deca in one turn.

I was very lucky to not face Timekeeper or The Awakened(?), which would have made it impossible.

I'll post a thread with some screenshots in a bit.

i did it with ironclad with the eye artifact that randomizes mana cost + bludgeon + perfect strikes + a some source of vulnarebility ( potion for example ) and some card draw

the 9 dmg + draw 1 card strike works pretty well too if u get lucky with the mana cost.

I killed one of the lvl 2 bosses on turn one
I managed to kill a semi-boss in one turn with infinite Dropkicks.

I did it with the Silent (the extra two starting cards really helps with this strategy). I then tried to get some combination of Dropkick/Swift Strike (I think those are the right cards) while removing cards at every opportunity. I managed to kill the boss of the second zone with this in one turn although it took me a few runs.

I have done around 700 damage on Turn 1 with just a few cards today against the final boss with ironclad, without cycling through the deck.

Defend x4
Body Slam x5
Iron Wave
Pommel Strike
Warcry
Battle Trance
Shockwave
Whirlwind
Double Tap
Impervious
Offering
Apotheosis

This was pretty sick and would beat every encounter on turn 1 unless a really unlucky draw occured, since I got Apotheosis, I dug at every campfire instead of upgrading cards and I happened to get the relic that guarantees me to have Apotheosis on turn 1.

Would usually get to draw the entire deck, get to 70 armor and play 4-7 Body Slams thanks to Double Tap to an enemy with +50%(later +75%). I imagine it's difficult to get the right cards for this consistantly however.

Only got around 700 score however despite perfect, 1000g and like 10 elite kills. :/

Managed this infinite deck: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1276344089

It's not too complex, but takes some luck to grab the right cards.
Offering picks up all cards and loop flash of steel + finesse.

edit: Remember that draw cards don't draw themselves after use. You need a 2nd draw.

I just saw a clip of someone having Searing Blow upgraded so much that they killed each of Donu & Deca in 2 hits, and using energy gain and Dual Wild they killed them both in one turn.

How do you get rid of all defend+strike ?
Benjamin Jan 20, 2018 @ 6:42pm
Snecko + dead branch + corruption can also do it.

Most bananas deck / setup ever.

Avoid buying cards in the shops and put all your coin into removing cards. Go for the ?. The CLERIC! is your very good friend and is rather common, as well has his disguise as the beggar. We get a lot of card draws. Odds are you'll be able to make a functional deck. So focus on cutting the dead weight.
