Slay the Spire
Looking for o ther good RPGs with deck-building mechanics
I've found that I rather like it when RPGs incorporate deckbuilding elements, so I'm looking for recommendations. In addition to this game, I have both Baten Kaitos and the prequel, as well as SteamWorld Quest

More information to, well, inform any recommendations:

First of all, SteamWorld Quest I found decidedly mediocre. The battle system had some interesting ideas but didn't really make too much use of them, and the deckbuilding was very minimal. You can only use 8 card per character, and the variety of cards is fairly small. In addition, I found that the stuff you start with seemed to generally be the best options throughout the game. Oh, and also I found 3 cards for your entire turn to be too few.

Now, the big one is Baten Kaitos, a full-size JRPG with a deckbuilding system and card-playing battles. A lot of people consider the prequel Origins' battle system to be superior, but while I do enjoy that one, I actually prefer the original's. First of all, I feel the deckbuilding in the original is better. Every character has their own deck, and each card in the deck is a specific action. It doesn't use the generic 'attack' cards Origins has; every attack card in the original has its own properties. In addition, I like that you play cards for both attack and defense, and I prefer the original's combo system as well. I find matching numbers for straights/of-a-kinds much better than Origins' simple 'play these specific cards in one attack chain'.

As for Slay the Spire, I think it has a good variety of cards, and combat is just fine. I do prefer a more 'ordinary' RPG to a rougelike-ish setup for this sort of thing, though; I feel continually building decks over the course of a longer game is more interesting than quickly building decks for shorter runs.

Anyways, hopefully that helps give a good idea of exactly what sort of game I'm looking for here. One last thing is that if at all possible, I'd prefer games on consoles especially portable ones (including the Switch), though it's still fine to recommend PC-only games.

Anyways, hopefully you guys can give me some good titles to look into.

Wizard of Legend is very similar to this game, being a rogue-like dungeon crawler as well. It includes deck-building, though you don't play cards in a traditional CCG sense, but rather try to use cards that work well with each oher.

That's neither a deck builder, nor an RPG. Just because you can pick abilities with an interface that looks like cards doesn't make them cards.

So how is it different to Slay the Spire? That is literally what you do here, you select abilities using an interface that looks like cards.

Wizard of Legend is a different genre, with a different playing style, though otherwise these two games are very alike. In both games, you select cards representing abilities that help you survive and defeat enemies. In both games you colect powerful relics with both an active and passive nature boosting you, while also collecting new cards building a strategy using card synergies. In both games you crawl through a layout trying to get to the boss.

(Not enough misspellings to be bevet.)
If you're having trouble with whether/why other people think something is or isn't a "card game," you can try this. Ask yourself: are the "cards" in the game in question actually "played" at any point? Are there any other card-like interactions such as drawing, discarding, and/or shuffling? Or are the cards just regular game objects stylized as cards to try rope in card fetishists?
If you're familiar with the "The Witcher"-series, you might like this:

It's also available on GOG.

Uh, in about every ways that isn't a roguelike? I'm not even sure how to approach a claim as absurd as this.

You might want to check out Book of Demons if you haven't already. A Diablo-esque dungeon crawler / RPG with deck building.

There are cards you can play to get a Steam Badge, with the most CCG interaction of all....you can BUY them!
Boom checkmate!
