How long are your runs?
I play 1.5-2 hours per run...reaching the boss with almost no life sucks...much time wasted...and no, I don't want to abandon a run unless after the first few events.

I play with controller by the way...don't know how some speedrunners finish the game in 7 minutes. I have to take my time and spend some minutes thinking which cards to remove or buy etc.

I'm on mid-level ascensions, so usually about ten minutes unless I get lucky. This last run was promising until I hit a chosen and bird, where the chosen always stole 3 strength, then all but one time used the double-hit. 21x2 damage is quite a bit, and that's after taking into account the weakness effect.

10 minutes??? How? Do you just mash keyboard buttons? You need some time to read all events, make choices etc.

50-80 minutes barring interruptions. Mostly depends on whether I need to stall for cards or relics.

It's usually 45 to 60 mins for me.

Easily. I'm sure Iduno means that they die real fast, so 10 minutes per run sounds about accurate. Context is your friend.

Regarding the original question, probably about 1-1.5 hours for me (on deep runs or wins). I'm still really new and have still just been working on unlocking Act 4 (done) and clearing it (still working) before trying any Ascensions

Recently bought the game, my winning runs (0 ascension) last about 40 minutes.

50-70 minutes, with just a few outliers. The fastest in my current history at 40 flat and the longest at 80 flat, all A20 heart.

30-50min on an average, winning act 3 run. maybe a bit more on ascension 20 or going for heart, like 45-70.

my only ascension 20 heart kill was like, 90 lol

my first runs were about an hour and a half. it gets faster as you learn the cards.

oh yeah and 75% of my runs are ironclad, which takes less time. i've had 3 hour defect games where i went infinite with creative ai.

Between 1 and 2 hours for a successful run (with Heart kill). That's a lot, but I don't care about the timer at all. I like to thoroughly think through shops and card rewards.

I like to take my time and think things through so my victory runs are usually between 1-2 hours. Fastest victory I've had so far was 1 hour and 3 minutes with the Ironclad. The other classes usually last a little longer. The speedrun achievement is going to be hard for me.
I don't abandon runs, i just go with the flow. So even my death runs tend to take a while.

PS I don't use fast mode. Plays a huge role too! :)

Depends. For a Daily Run, 30-90 minutes depending on what the modifiers are. A typical run that I win ranges probably 45-90 minutes because I don't agonize over decisions. I'm not sure how using a controller would impact those times, but I suspect I'd slow down immensely.
