Smite and Truth
Does anyone know what these two cards are? One of the Watchers cards say to pick one to shuffle in. Since I had no idea what they are or how good they are, I chose not to pick that card.

Smite is an attack, cost 1, Retain, 10 damage (13 upgraded), Exhaust. Haven't seen Truth yet.

Truth deals like 4 or 6-7 dmg upgraded i cant remember and also draw a card. its an attack. It costs 1. That carve reality card is not good. Oh here, pay 1 to deal crap damage and chose between two crap cards that also cost 1...

The appeal to Smite is that it is retainable. You keep 4 of them in your hand and they are suddenly 0 cost cards next turn. With wrath that's 20 per, nothing to sneeze at.

The cost doesn't reduce on its own, though. The Establishment power (and maybe other cards/relics that I haven't seen yet?) can reduce the cost of all retained cards by one. But on its own it doesn't seem that great.

Ohhh man that's a good power. Ok I've got to unlock these cards before I comment. Reducing all retained cards cost by one is a game changer.

Establishment is a base card. Also, it seems this character is for those who want more of a complex character; unlike the base two unlockable characters, you need to beat the game first rather than simply playing a game as the previous character. Also, 1 Energy Deal 10 Damage Retain is really not a bad card. It compares pretty similarly to the Ironclad's Twin Strike IMO, and I think it might be better thanks to the Retain.

Twin Strike gets double the benefit of any strength buff you have.

Smite itself costs 1 energy, but it's sort of like shivs in the sense that it's generated by other cards, so you're going to need to pay more than one energy to actually play a Smite. Unless you can also get Establishment, which is an uncommon card.
