List of really good relics for heart
from 'just good to have' to 'cheating'

-pantograph: just heal a lot of hp after guards;
-horn cleat: 60 damage on 2nd turn- is a lot. This make it little bit easier;
-potion belt: more potions - more chanses;
-self-forming-clay: stucking defense on next turn for playing cards;
-fossilized helix or incense burner: not taking damage at all beter than taking part of damage, right?
-ginger or turnip: no comments;
-pen nib: more damage for god of damage;
-nunchaky/slaver's collar/happy flower: energy is the most rare resourse, you always need more, than you have;
-orichalcum: min 6 block before attack is good i guess;
-lizard tail: second chanse!

And finally... three the most powerful things:

-bronze scales: it gives to heart minimum 36 damage in almost every turn!
-Torri: minimize damage from standart attack to 1!
-Tungsten rod: you don't take any damage from beat of death or standart attack at all! You don't need defense almost whole fight!

And on this it's all. If you have any suggetion for this list just write in comments.

If you include Horn Cleat, why not Captain's Wheel?

There's a lot of relics that are strong in general too. Stat boosts, Ink Bottle, Snecko Skull, Bottled Tornado, Gold Plated Cable, Kunai, Mummified hand, Ornamental Fan, Paper Krane, Bird Faced Urn, Cloak Clasp, Emotional Chip, Ice Cream, Thread and Needles, Tough bandages, Sacred Bark, Runic Pyramid, Cursed Tome event relics, Odd Mushroom, Clockwork Souvenir, Medical Kit, Orange Pellets, Runic Capacitor, Toy Ornithopter.

Magic Flower if you use healing on IC. Callipers if you have a block heavy deck. Pocketwatch. Stone calendar is still a decent ammount of damage and the fight is probably gonna last at least 7 turns. Warped Tongue if you don't have a lot of upgraded cards. Chemical X if you use X cost cards. Abacus if your deck is small. Strange Spoon if you use stuff like Apparitions, Brilliance, Reaper, Catalyst, Seek, etc...

Your list is pretty good though, especially for Heart.

The Hearth` biggest challenge is surviving the first 3 turns with decent health (+ boosted Bloodshots)

If we want to make a list of high impact Heart Relics (leaving aside stuff like Dead Branch) we are probably looking at the ones that help us survive the first cycle.
Torii
Incense Burner
Orange Pellets
Fossilized Helix

Self-Forming Clay
Tungsten Rod

I mean, I've seen orichalcum do work all the way up to act 3 bosses on defect or with intangible. Act 4 though? That's a stretch.

Pellets good, but very situational. You need cheep cards for using this with different types and in right moment. If you haven't relics or cards for energy you spend almost whole turn on curing conditions.

About orichalcum: in start of turn you can don't have a def cards at all and heart will kill you in this round because total damage=hp. And what you will do in this situation?

I'd get a lil pissy about drawing badly and move on.

Like, if we're talking unlikely chances of avoiding death, it's like getting ornithopter from the act 4 elite with 1 potion left. Once in a blue moon a smol advantage like this does save the run, but I don't think it's worth mentioning in a thread about outstanding heart hard counters.

Bag of Prep. Red Mask....is not high impact but occasionally will allow you to play a weak card turn 1 and have weak carry over to turn 2 or turn 2 and 3. Frozen Eye...can let you see exactly how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ you are. Uhhh....the Cultist face can let you get off a cathartic CA-CAW before you die?

Bag of Prep is fine, but mask useless (except gold on 3rd act). Heart is never attack on 1st turn.

Read it again.

If you have this card on your first turn.

mask is not useless in hallway fights, definitely is for the heart though.

>play crippling cloud turn 1
>heart not weak on turn 3

>play cc turn 1 with mask
>heart weak on turn 3

I crapped on ori because you wanna be blocking when it matters anyway, but when you're already doing so and you STILL reduce incoming damage by like 15~20, that's significant.

Okay, okay, I'm give up on this.

The combination of Torii and Tungsten Rod is amazing too. Torii reduces hits 5 or less to 1, then Tungsten Rod kicks in and further reduces it to 0.
