Bug report : Calling bell
Hi there ! This relic is supposed to give 3 random relics + 3 curses, but it seems to give only curses ! What a shame :o
This is a crazy good game, keep up the good work :)

Did you pick up the relics after clicking "proceed" on the curse obtained screen?

Same thing happened to me I pressed skip button by accident then wanted to return to relic screen there was only a "Skip Rewards" button and ended up with 3 curses and no relics.

Same here. There should be a change in UI to prevent this.
For the curse there is just "ok take it" and for the relics you can accidently skip to obtain them...

Oh okay ! Thanks guys I'll pay more attention next time. Did you notice another bug with the relic supposed to let you see your next draw ? (Frozen Eye or something like that) it don't seems to work :/

This relic is horribly implemented. If it gives you 3 curses, the 3 relics it gives should be automatic. I just obtained this relic at the start of my run and had to immediately abandon the run because I didn't realize I had to accept the relics to receive them. Please either warn players before they proceed or just force them to receive the relics.

click on your draw pile
you will draw cards from top left to the right and then down
still cant see the order things in your discard pile will end up in the draw pile again

Some relics can be slightly negative for you. Self Forming Clay can interfere with Orichalum for instance. I think just giving a heads up message before you enter the next floor would be ideal.

I made sure to get the relics and they went aways after my first turn of combat. any idea on why that happened?

Sounds like we need to add a big ol' confirmation pop up (which we hate doing- but skipping relics is far too sad).

I think a "Take All" button would work as well as a pop-up.
Take all would skip card choices and boss relics since the player has multiple options.

Another option would be to add a second Continue option "Take All and Continue" which would make the game take everything and bring up the card options the player has (sequentially if multiple card options are available).

I don't want to be a party pooper or negative Nancy here, but.. Might it not be better if the Devs wouldn't need to hold people's hands for these types of things and we actually think "Huh, okay.. It doesn't take the relics automatically, let's remember that for next time!"?

No. Your suggestion is horrible. Some relics are garbage in this game, and I don't want them. Snecko Eye for example is fun, and good with some builds. For other builds it completely destroys your game, so I don't want it forced on me if it drops.

How would you feel if the game forced Pandora's Box on you and transformed all of your strikes and defendes into different cards, and afterwards you ended up having flat out zero block cards due to RNG and game forcing you to take a relic?

So yeah, how about no.

I just ran into this and thought it was a bug, but from the other comments it sounds like the early UI just doesn't handle this interaction very well. What threw me off was that I tried to click a curse I did not want but it didn't do anything so I assumed I could not do the same for the relics and just clicked what I assumed was a continue button but it was actually a skip button that didn't ask for confirmation.

Just adding a confirmation message on the relic screen would fix the issue if you ask me. Loving the game!

a UX update is pushed to the beta branch so folks shouldn't be missing out on relics no more!
