Can't Change Resolution [SOLVED]
So, default resolution was horrible on my pc resolution (1920x1080) so I was like "What if I put that resolution for the game?" Worst. Idea. Ever. Now I have barely 60% of the screen visible, with only a small part of it able to being played due to mouse constrictions (I can't move mouse past X point). So, I can't even select options to solve it. Help?

Oh, another problem I've been running: I have a notebook and a desktop. Desktop doesn't seem to follow notebook's progress, but even still he "pushes back" the notebook, how so? I started a run with the PC. Saved it. Started playing on notebook, same run as before. Start a new one in the notebook. Save it. Turn the PC, find out this error of resolution, turn off the game (realizing I'm still on the last run for the pc). Turn on the notebook and want to play the run, get the run from the pc.

Browse the game's local files. Open the config file named "Info" with notepad or relative. Change first 2 lines to your desired resolution. You can also turn off full screen by making the first 2 booleans false. Save the config, close, and restart StS. Should have access to the entire screen again.

As for the 2nd issue, it sounds like a cloud saving problem.

I ran into this - when I changed resolutions the options menu & everything else weren't accessible - I just went to local files and deleted the file with resolution, then verified game files through the properties via. steam menu (not sure if necessary) and ran again.

I got this issue fixed doing the following

Go to =>

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SlayTheSpire

right click exe file
=> properties
=> compatiblillity

turn of DPI scaling (third square from bottom)

Please let me know if it works. I got a few other solutions if it doesn't.

It was solved, thank you. Simply editing/deleting the file and getting it back was enough!

In the location given above (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SlayTheSpire), open the file named info.displayconfig. The first two lines have the resolution of the game (e.g. 1280 and 720). Change them to whatever you want them to be (just be sure they're actually compatible).

When you relaunch the game, it should use the values you entered.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
