Also Deadly Poison gains a lot more from upgrading. That could either be a good thing or a bad thing.
Some builds focus skills, some attacks. Then you get things like envenom which inflict poison with every attack. The value of the card is dependant on what's complimenting it in the deck.
Without even considering that Deadly Poison is a Skill (which I find advantageous on average), I'd still take it over Poisoned Stab. No thorns proc, no Angry Gremlin proc, no being blocked by Armor (etc.) are just extra bonuses.
It is not better in every way.
Deadly Poison is a skill, which gets to partake in Silent's Skill synergy cards. Also due to being a skill, Deadly gets around Thorns, which is typically a tough obstace for Silent.
Deadly Poison is also not impeded by a target's block, unlike Poison Stab.
