Save file location/Reset progress?
Where is the save file? I'd like to delete it to reset my progress and start fresh.

Disable Steam Cloud Sync.
Delete files prefixed with STS in:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\.prefs
Load the game.

We'll add a Delete Save option in the Settings eventually though.

For some reason, there are copies of the save files in two different folders. Some are in /.prefs/ and others are in /Steam/userdata/(your Steam user ID number)/(the game's Steam ID number, which is 646570)/.

Deleting all of those might work, though I'd probably still back them up first.

The save files in .prefs are deprecated now.

Since it's the Windows profile directory, some Anti-Virus programs were preventing those from being created.

Also, save files could be on a separate disk, so we saw a few people with out of storage errors (they were confused because the steam directory still had space).

I deleted the steam cloud save location and even in offline mode was getting the save coming back. Thought I saw something in patch notes about save back ups so checked out the game files.

Seemed to be save backups in this folder
\Programs\Steam\steamapps\common\SlayTheSpire\preferences

Nuked all the .STS files in it, booted the game and save was fully removed!

Awesome save backup system, just caused me issues in this super niche use case, just wanted to feedback in case it helps someone else :beatmeat:
