How's the fanservice and sex appeal?

Okay, so the all male cast was the biggest turn off for me, and basically sealed the deal of a no buy ever from me.

Now I see that you can play as a female character in place of Noctis? What is the deal with that. I can create a female character and use her the entire game or do I need to beat it first or what?

Some follow up questions to that. How sexy are the females? Is there armor or clothes that I can have her in that are revealing and skimpy?

Can I use Cindy or any of the other girls in place of Noctis or are those not possible?

Normally I wouldn't even look at this game, but I saw this was on sale when I pre-ordered Dragon Quest XI, so I decided to take a peek. Kinda wondering why Square Enix would put this on sale right before Dragon Quest releases.

Yes, you can create your own character and play that character in place of Noctis. However, it is just a skin. The game still considers the character as Noctis. That means if you will play female, she will have Noctis's voice. Can't play Cindy. And no skimpy clothing in this game.

Try looking into the workshop. There are some model swap mods to change Noctis, or other party members, into Cindy or Iris (I didn't check but there might even be one to use Aranea, another female secondary character). There are also different clothes texture swaps for the female characters, maybe they can be used together.

What's up with your comment? Do you have a problem with someone wanting some sexy fanservice in a game they might want to buy? You don't have to like it yourself, but you follow this by calling attention to your "cutie" that you play as. Seems a bit hypocritical if you're indeed annoyed at the OP for asking about sexy content.
