There were once three rats who challenged each other to take a piece of cheese from a mousetrap.

The first one, boasting about its speed and reflexes, quickly dove for the cheese and died instantly.

The second one took the chance, with the trap now sprung, to reach for the cheese but was promptly smashed by a large boot from the human who had just come to check on the trap.

The third one, being cunning, waited until the human took away the other two rats to dispose of them, and quickly claimed the cheese for itself.

After devouring the entire piece, it approached two other rats. With a simple gesture, it pointed to the trap, now set again with a new piece of cheese.

Once again, there were three rats who challenged each other to take a piece of cheese from a mousetrap.
