is there a time limit to finish the game?

I have read a lot of comments and the answers are not the same. Some people says that the game finish at 10 days maximun. Others says there is no time limit. There are also opinions stating that you have to advance to certain point before 10 days and after that there is no limit. Wich is the real answer?

From what I found, most official places say 10 days, with several people saying it took them 5-10 days to finishe the game. And the only people who went over that time frame were due to bugs and glitches (from what I found, overall). Generally though, I don't think it really matters. You'll have enough time to get everything done, and if you try to force a limit, several people said the game doesn't seem to necessarily progress. Certain event triggers seem to progress time and events, not the actual day you are on itself.

So 7-10 days of content in-game before it's over (40-90 hours IRL)

You can literally wait around forever forcing time to pass and nothing will happen. There are some events that trigger on the first few days and new things that open up, but the main story never punishes you for taking too long. The point of no return that locks you into the endgame arc is based on completing a specific objective related to investigating the main case.
