How to add doors?

Read title.
Is it possible for the regular level editor to create doors? I have been trying to copy the entrance or exit, no succes.... Did made me come up with some interesting ideas...

Oh and how can I get those themes you can find in some top-rated test chambers (the old rusty apperture or the theme where plants started to grow)?

Either hammer or BEEMOD for the doors and only hammer for overgrown chambers.

I recently was told about Carl's style mod. That is good for making you chamber look 1970's. I haven't been able to get it to work yet, but I haven't really tried yet.

yeah... the PTI hasn't been updated since release (except for minor bug fixes) you need mods if you want new items

If you want to make Old Aperture or Overgrown chambers, your best bet is Hammer. The style changer doesn't really work as well as it ought to.

I know nobody's posted on this forum but others may find this, the best solution i've found to add doors is using an angled panel turned 90 degrees, connected to a switch or anything of your choice. Preferably make the portability of the door opposite of the wall. Hope this helps anyone who is in dire need of making d o o r s .

you can of course use mods but if you're lazy you can just do this
