Any location for sub autosaves or something?

Apparently, when you close Barotrauma, even if you've saved a new sub it gets deleted from the surprisingly-now-temp folder. Any location a previous iteration should have been sent to?

Steam/steamapps/common/Barotrauma/contents/ - I have a MacOS folder here, you most likely have a Windows folder (basically the one which is not Resources) - then choose either the folder "Submarines" - "Downloaded" - YOURSUBNAME.sub OR instead of "Submarines", look for a folder called "Mods" - then navigate to "YOURSUBNAME" folder and there should be a filelist.xml and YOURSUBNAME.sub - in either one of these you should find your .sub file with your project. If neither works, you can just try searching up YOURSUBNAME.sub in the search bar, and from there you can find it. My last ship got saved to another folder and I also couldn't find it but eventually solved it. Hope this helps!

thanks for the help, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere in /common or /local
it wasn't too painful - only about an hour lost, but if this happened to a larger sub I'd be pissed as hell

Hi! Editor autosaving is among our most requested new features – for now, save often is still the only thing to do to prevent losing progress, but we've finally also implemented autosaving, hopefully to be added in the near future :)
