basically it says "ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ МАКДАУНА ЗАПРЕЩАЕТ ИГРА", which is slightly incorrect you will see why
It sometimes had more names such as "ИГРАТЬ" or "ИГРАТ" at the end, might be related to the symbol limit, or just grammatical errors

The precise translation is "MACDOWN FEDERATION FORBIDS YOU TO PLAY" - speaking of incorrection the word TO PLAY is "ИГРАТЬ" with the "ТЬ" in the end. "ИГРА", however similar, means the noun game, so it would be the name with just "GAME" instead of "TO PLAY", so you see why it slightly does not make sense

The description is even more confusing. I cannot replicate it from the top of my head, nor I can actually be bothered to look it up and copy paste the whole thing, but it was something along the lines of "Barotrauma makes you more stupid" or just the server name repetition copy pasted, something like that.

I cannot join any dedicated server unfortunately because I am playing on Mac, that is a known issue, so cannot deny nor confirm what is happening inside, but judging by the obviously incorrect player count and quite unique meaning of ♥♥♥♥, *cough cough* can read more on it here[www.adl.org], I just assume it is a prank of some sorts, or just highlighting the potential game limitations perhaps.

I'm pretty sure they are a griefer/cheater group. Also if you try to join the server, you will be automatically banned

Well if you get auto-banned, that just proves my theory that it is a prank server of some sorts. I have personally never encountered hackers or cheaters in my extensive playtime, so doubt that is the case. You can set up a dedicated server pretty much as you wish, without even anyone playing, and most likely edit the player count as you want, and most likely it is a similar case here. I personally just added their name in the bannedwordslist.txt file, so it is hidden for me so I won't be bothered by it, but otherwise, any conspiracy is welcomed perhaps haha

i mean, if they know how to change the server source code to make it report wrong numbers to steam, then they most likely know how to make cheats by changing client code, you can't really know if someone is wall hacking or not, so it's kinda hard to know if a griefer is cheating too or not. Btw, i remember that someone told me that part of the description translated to "rp servers are stupid" or something along these lines

Not to argue for or against anything, but here is some food for thought. Cheating is essentially giving yourself an unfair advantage over other players either by modifying the game or using any third-party software. Speaking of which, and wallhacking specifically - which kind of advantage does it give exactly? The host can enable or disable see-though walls as much as he wants, with no third-party software, and it gives no benefit or practicality at all. You can listen to doors opening and closing much easier than any wallhacking. Plus, there are thermal googles[barotraumagame.com], which give you exactly that as the last engineering talent. Benefit? honestly none, except for the caves or ruins perhaps, but even then the game is dark enough to annul the wallhack, and any pvp is too fast paced for you to be able to use any advantage it gives off.

I would say, that possibly, of course, cheating could be some sort of enabling freecam movement for sub-v-sub scenario, as you can see where the enemies are, but even then. You know where they are, great. Reporting it to crew? instantly sussed and banned. You knowing this just yourself? well great, but again, whats the practicality?

Spawning is allowed only for hosts, therefore it is all server-sided, so no other client can use console. The max you would be able to do even with admin priveleges is ban people. Again, it would get you banned by the host, and all this is easily un-modifiable by a simple text file. Practicality or advantage? none

And worst off, something along the lines of godmode, infinite vitality, teleporting, no damage, 1 shot kills, or even mod-menus. For such a small game? Again, what is the advantage?

I for example, have a job set to be as "VIP" for server lobby and a fully red skin, but even then I have probably a much higher chance of being banned simply because I am more experienced, and people tend to fear the unknown. Now imagine actually hassling with the code, or from what I have heard, there is a trainer from WeMod already, speaking of which, I doubt it works online, as it is all server-sided in pubs, not client-sided, and again any suspicious activity gets you banned faster that you would be able to do anything.

P.s. game is broken enough as it is, hacking would simply be unnecessary and plain stupid

p.s.p.s.

Well, for campaign servers, its mostly useless, but i can argue that cheating can give a good amount of advantage in pvp servers (not specifically sub vs sub):

1) freecam in traitor servers, allowing you to discover who is the traitor
2) automatically inject yourself with medicine and reload your weapons, giving huge pvp advantage
3) wallhacking can be pretty useful in big submarine with a lots of rooms, and making thermal goggles is impractical or even impossible in some servers

I agree that cheating in barotrauma is a bit unnecessary, because you can already ruin the game without any cheats, but the option still exists, and i believe some griefers use it.

Sorry in advance for writing too much, yes I am bored, and yes I have a lot of time to do nothing right now, might as well practice my english lol, but yea.

Fair points, especially I do agree with the fact that overall, the option exists, and of course, the game can be broken much further with software, but yet again, more food on the table from my humble perspective.

The overall percentage of missions or even sandboxes compared to campaigns are super low on the public servers (I exclude the passworded ones, as they only be for a limited group of people or those who know each other which again drops the cheating opportunity close to zero). The percentage of PVP servers out of all game modes available in these missions/sandboxes is even lower. Not sub v sub pvp just leaves us with TDM then, which I have personally encountered maybe just a few times during my 3k+ hour playtime since the steam early access release, which = that chance of encountering tdm servers are close to none at all. But even then, lets just say you are lucky enough to stumble upon 2-3 servers which host TDMs.

Now let's be honest here, a lot of the time hosts specifically join spectators to see if anyone abuses the game to their advantage, and kicks/bans people if they do so. If the host dies during combat because of de-sync or some other issue (which happens a lot more frequently), they would just kick the guy who killed him, restart the lobby, or simply ragequit, thus ending the server. But if, just if, we exclude all of that, would you think that cheating is really worth all that time and effort to barely use it, if at all, to simply get yourself banned from all these servers available, to just not use it again at all? I really really doubt it is.

Now to address your points:

1) You have discovered who is the traitor is using the freecam hack, ok. What are you going to do next?
1.1) You have killed him, another sailor becomes the traitor. Repeat. Get banned for RDM as non-traitor.
1.2) Report it to the crew, because you "saw something"? Great, anyone could see something, get sussed out, security shoots you dead for playing 'traitor'.
1.3) Repeated correct call-out on who is the traitor? Traitors/players vote kick you for reporting as obviously something does not add up. Or returning back to lobby they all proclaim in one go that you instantly know who the traitor is. Ultimately ruining all the fun. Get banned.

Overall practicality? none

2) Auto-injector headset or PUCS does precisely as you have described already regarding medicine. Speaking of "automation" of medicine or reloading. Say you have morphine equipped in slot 4 and smg ammo in slot 5. Clicking H and quickly pressing the slot number (in this case 4) on your keyboard for medicine gives you just that, no need to hover over your mouse anywhere, the game does that auto-injection for you, there is nowhere to perfect the speed more. Now for ammo. If you have spent all you ammo mag in smg, simply hold the smg equipped and click on the slot number on your keyboard (in this case 5), it will drop down the used ammo and reload it automatically for you. Nowhere to automate anything further, if you get used to the clicking and knowing which slot you put your things in, you can do all that without any coding much faster.

Overall practicality? none

3) Wallhacking is still lowkey useless given the points above, and again, the fact that the host can turn the vision on-off fitting his own preferences kind of neglects all of it. Enemies? you hear them breaching any door/stepping/roaring, so you can kind of tell where they are. Players? again doors opening closing, footsteps and proximity voice chat give you just enough knowledge on anything you may need, kind of again neglecting any practicality at all.

I just cannot imagine a scenario where any of this would be useful at all, and even if, even if you may have just a slight chance to use any hacks at all, the overall time and effort spent to code anything does not match any single advantage you may gain. Plus, not only that, but putting all that effort for extremely if at all existent situations gives you a 99.9% higher probability of getting banned, thus again annulling any of that doubting "work".

I think we play the game differently, i don't play campaign at all, i mostly play on mission servers, and i normally don't have problems finding these type of servers, one of them that you might have heard of is "The Happy Traitor", but anyway, i agree with your points, most of time, these hacks are pretty useless.

I am from Russia, I perceive this as an insult and an evil and impudent mockery.
♥♥♥♥ is the code for the Nazis (google it), and 228 is the article of the law in Russia related to drugs. Among the Russian-speaking segment, "228" is usually used either by stupid schoolchildren, or by not quite adequate and normal people.

I would ask to ban this server, as well as analyze other oddities and violations on it. I am 99% sure that not quite normal players are sitting there and they will not bring anything good to the community.
